where music comes to life and inspires the next generation!
MPOKids is an initiative by the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, the Maltese islands’ national orchestra made up of some of the most talented musicians in the country. Our mission? To share the magic of music with everyone, especially kids like you! That is why we have created this special initiative just for young audiences—to bring music closer to you and spark your imagination.

So many instruments: We play many different instruments—from tiny piccolos to giant double basses. Can you guess which one makes the loudest sound?
Years of Music: We have been performing for audiences of all ages since 1968, and now we’re excited to share our music with you.
Concert Adventures: Every year, we play around 60 to 70 concerts, including performances designed especially for kids and families.
Behind the Scenes: The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra is powered by a passionate group of people who love music just as much as you do! Our CEO Vanessa Mangion leads a super team that manages logistics, marketing, finance, events and so much more!
FUN FACTS ABOUT US
We perform all genres of music but our favorite is classical.
The largest audience we have performed for was tens of thousand people — imagine the cheers!
We have travelled to a lot of countries, sharing music everywhere we go.
